Fork mountings
Paralactic fork mounting is constructed with a fork on the polar axis´ top end. Reflector rotates in the fork on a declination axis. The telescope is fixed in the fork axis and is automaticaly balanced. This type mount is not as wide as German paralactic mount (it does not need so much space in an observatory dome).

We recommend these proportions for the best rigidity of the mounting:
The mounting is used with a telescope on one side and a weight on the other side, or with
telescopes on both sides. Several devices can be combined on one mounting - e.g. a mounting
with a polar axis of 100 mm diameter can hold a Newton-type telescope with a 400 mm aperture
with a pointer and a finder on one side and a Maksutov-type camera instead of the weight on the other side.

We produce drives with a step motor for these mountings as well - prices depend on the detailed specification.
